With a battle between the species beginning to brew the Wolves and Vampires are at odds with each other more than ever. With Esther and Mikael back from the dead and siding against their children, breathing life to the impending war it’s up to the Mikaelsons to find a way to regain peace within the city. Upon discovering that their brothers Finn and Kol have been brought back by their mother into warlock bodies Klaus and Elijah attempt to get them to see reason, to go against their mother and side with them. In order to persuade them they have struck a deal with a powerful witch, one that is unknown to everyone else, to put them into their original bodies and thus becoming originals once again. With all of the bad blood between the Original family, however, they can’t help but bring in others, especially bringing their inner demons out and taking them out on those who get close to them. They become victims in the feud, used against the Mikaelsons as weapons to break them.
With the battle growing the list of casualties grows. Humans become exposed to the world of the supernatural leading to an uprising of hunters out to protect their own. Not only are the hunters out to end the feud but all supernatural beings, vampires, werewolves and witches alike. Armed with state of the art weaponry crafted specifically to end them they set out to hunt down each and every last one of them.
