History: As a kitten, Archimedes was taught to be a gentleman and to play easy with the smaller kittens. Constantly, he was made fun of and called 'The Rabbit" because of his size and scaredy-ness, but two uncanny small singapura kittens hung around and befriended the gentle giant.
The size of a normal young adult now, the maine coon child was over half a year old and was so content; never needing anyone else but his buddies and his mother, Archi learned about love and kindness to others from the book rather than the field. Rather than trying to earn the young love of a she-cat, he rather hunted for those who did not know how or were too small, sick, or uncooperative to hunt with a team. It gave him a purpose and it made him feel good about his weight and bland fur pattern that he saw. Many females liked the way he could take care of his family at such a young age, but more importantly, the power he held within. The toms, however, were not pleased that whispers of puppy-lovers had shifted from them to one cat.
Choosing to tag along and ambush him while Archi was tracking down a chipmunk at a request, five boys: one tortie, two american shorthairs, one albino cat he was not certain of the breed, and one siamese tackled him and warned him to stay away from their crushes, swiping him for saying anything but he wouldn't do it again. Running back to his mother, he explained what happened and apologized multiple times for the things he could not help. For terrorizing her baby, Lucriceia went to their parents, telling them of the wounds on her 'fluffy marshmouse', as she called him, and beat up the orphaned leader of the attack as punishment.
Now paranoid around menacing or beautiful cats, Archimedes constantly expresses his 'sorries' and tries to keep away from anyone he bumps into. Every now-and-again, he visits his Lucriceia and his petite friends, occasionally making new ones the twins have already approved of. Bless Archimedes' heart, he is such a gentle giant, but he is just silent and a big fraidy-cat to step out of his comfort zone too far to where he can't hide back in his shell.
