Personality: Calypso is a lot like the definitions her name brings on; an exotic and wild sound and a mischievous and promiscuous nymph. She is a wild girl; self absorbed to an incredible degree, but her fun and fiery attitude is charming to most. She is bold and likes to take risks, only giving her respect to those who are just as daring as she is. In her constant pursuit of a good time, Calypso doesn't come off as particularly good or evil. She is a cat that just is, and doesn't like to be held down by labels, expectations, or "downers".
History: Calypso's parents started out in a very familiar circumstance in fairy tales; her mother was a pedigree blue-cream Raggamuffin who was owned by a stuffy family named Dahlia . Her father was a stray Bobtail who lived in the abandoned house across the street named Bruce. The two were very fond of each other, and eventually they were expecting a litter of four. Unfortunately, that little was due during the Summer of the great storm. Bruce had a noticed the warning signs of a huge storm and told Dahlia that he was moving into the forest until it passed. Dahlia, being insecure, suspected him of cheating followed. Disaster broke out, and when the two went back to the neighborhood, there was nothing left of it. Dahlia's family was gone without a trace and Bruce's home was totalled. Dahlia gave birth in the destroyed remains of her home, and from that moment forward, Bruce fought tooth and claw with almost every male in town to secure them a land to themselves. Unlike her siblings, Calypso paid a lot of attention to what her father was doing and admired him for it. She wanted to grow up to be just like him. Dahlia couldn't really do much on her own; she was declawed, so she couldn't even hunt for her kits, but she was nurturing, caring, and optimistic. Bruce and Calypso's brothers had endless sympathy for their mother, but Calypso had very little respect for her mother. Bruce died in a vicious fight with a badger who had roamed into town. Calypso didn't see any point in staying around any longer afterwards.
