Name: Whisp (might end up changing the name)
Age: 1 year
Birth Season: Summer
Gender: Female
Sexuality/Orientation: Pansexual
Size: Medium and Slender
Eye color: Blue
Official Coat Color: Blue Colorpoint
Coat color description & appearance:
tba
Coat length: Short
Ailments: none
Personality:
She sits with a regal posture, drawn up and motionless as though frozen in time, blue eyes gazing off into the distance with only a slow blink once in a while to show that she is not a statue. Squirrels might cross in front of her, birds let out loud calls, but she doesn't seem to notice. Whisp, even from early on, never quite seemed... present. The queen rarely seems to really look at anything that's actually there, for even if she meets your gaze, it's easy to get the feeling that she is still looking past you. Dazed is one of the words that a stranger could use to describe her at first. Dazed, distant, confused, and stupid?
But that's not the case. Or maybe it is. She's not stupid though, she just takes her own time. When Whisp gets these distant looks, practically all the time, there are two main options as to what's happening inside her head. The first one is that she really isn't paying much attention, only dedicating a very small amount of her attention to, say, making sure she doesn't walk into a tree. Instead, she's going over memories of what has happened earlier that day, or weeks and even months ago. Or coming up with possibilities for what's going to happen in the future. She imagines a lot of things in her head and prefers to imagine how everything is going to go before doing it. For instance, she often has trouble grasping concepts immediately, but once she has gone over it a few times in her head she finds it much easier to do.
The second thing that could be happening is that she is paying attention, but just prefers not to show it. It's easier to let everything filter in at its own pace instead of looking from one thing to the next and the next. Besides, she does sort of like being able to surprise others by revealing that she knows much more than they think she does.
Whisp isn't distant all the time, though. She can become quite alert when she's put her mind to it, and sarcastic too. Normally, this is when you've made her mad or annoyed. Then she will look at you, often with a strong glare or disappointed look, and reprimand as she sees fit. She's a perfectionist as well, so another way to get her attention is to do something badly enough until she can't stand it anymore and begins giving orders and instructions.
Getting close to her and somehow managing to become her friend doesn't help vanish this dazed exterior, though more jokes and sarcasm can be expected, and a stronger willingness to do what she can for her friend.
Despite already being a year old, she has never been able to totally make this strange behavior of hers disappear completely. It's something that bothers her a lot, but this only adds to the large amount of thoughts that run through her head throughout the day.
History:
-One sibling? Definitely one death. Mother was older when she gave birth. Knows a little from her own mother about the tornado that struck.
-Named with only numbers are first, One, Two, Three... She was either youngest or middle
-Father present.
-How did her family react to her strange personality? What did they do about it? How "dazed" was Whisp back then? Has it gotten worse?
-Whisp doesn't live with family anymore. She recently parted from them. Why? Simple "coming of age" thing? Did they get fed up?
-How is Whisp surviving now?
