Size: Medium and slender [weighs 10lbs]

Coat color description/appearance: Blue mackerel tabby with a white locket.
Coat length: Short.
Ailments: Anxiety
Personality: Very dry-humored and a bit on the edgy side. Doesn't much like being psychoanalyzed or asked about his problems, since he knows he has them and feels he does just fine without help. He hates change with a burning passion and prefers to keep things the same; if things change too suddenly or drastically, he becomes mentally incapacitated, doing his duties and hunting as he must but rarely responding to social stimuli due to stress. He openly loves kittens though he does feel he must be rough with them, and often avoids any nursing dens to ensure he doesn't frighten or stress the queen potentially within. He detests the idea of romance in his life and prefers to have a lay with any cat he likes, not wanting to be bogged down by the stress of a loving, clingy cat.
History: Indigo was born into the sewers in the Springtime of Year 6 between two tortoiseshell kits. His mother was a doting one, and though she didn't associate with their father during his rearing he did see the tom around from time to time, mostly to check and ensure his brood still lived. Indigo and his sisters lived a relatively good life, with their mother being an incredible hunter who rarely let her litter go hungry. Indigo grew up being taught that he must be strong and confident, however, and every show of cowardice was punished by his mother. His sisters got the same treatment, and he found some solace in that; but it gave him terrible shakes and he found that he was avoiding doing anything just to skirt past her punishments. He and Robin conferred while Lavender was out and about, unrealizing that Toad listened all the while. When she ratted the two kits out, Lavender was furious, accusing them of weakness and secretiveness. She and Robin quickly got into a scuffle in which Robin was accidentally thrown into the grubby waters of the sewer system. Lavender watched the inexperienced kit struggle until she drowned, and used her dead kit as a tool to wield against her offspring. Seeing what she'd done, Toad left and wandered the sewers alone, ashamed. Indigo hardly stayed much longer, but refused to follow his sister, blaming her for the terrible death of his beloved littermate. The year-and-a-half between then and now was spent wandering as a young cat does, trying to find his way in the world.
